After lunch in Valladolid you'll Visit the old colonial town, visit the monastery. and go for a swim at cenote Zaci.

Isla Mujeres has a long and colorful history, in Mayan times the name of the Island was Ekab (black soil) and was a sanctuary for the Mayan goddess Ixchel. 1517 the Island was discovered by the Spaniard Francisco Hernandez Cordova, in the mid 18t century famous pirates like Captain Morgen and Captain Lafitte used the Island to hide.
