Ek Balam is probably one of the most beautiful Mayan ruin cities, though few buildings have been excavated is definitely worth a visit, if only for the well-preserved Frescos at the excavation site. After lunch in Valladolid, you'll visit the old colonial town, visit the monastery. and go for a swim at cenote Zaci.

The Riviera Maya developed 40 years ago as a pure holiday region. Until then, there were only a few small fishing villages like Playa del Carmen, which are now full-fledged cities. In order to give tourists an insight into the everyday life of Mexicans, I organized a day trip that leads out of the Riviera Maya and shows both the life of the Maya in the jungle and everyday life in a small Mexican town without tourism. Visit the mystical Mayan Ruin City of Coba, only 40 miles west of the Riviera Maya and approx. 115 miles southwest of Cancun, once the biggest and most important city in Yucatan, climb the Pyramid Nohoch Mul and enjoy the fantastic view over the jungle.  Have a typical Mayan lunch and go swimming and/or snorkeling at beautiful Grand Cenote.

On this 3-day Yucatan Round-Trip, you’ll see the real Mexico. You’ll visit Ek Balam,  Chichen Itza, and Uxmal, as well as the colonial city Merida. You will swim in cenotes to refresh yourself and go on a round trip over the famous Paseo de Montejo in Merida. You’ll stay over 2 nights in a hotel in Merida, close to the Zocalo, and you can see a reenactment of the Maya ball game or any other event on the day we are there. You'll visit a  chocolate factory. where they make chocolate based on 3000-year-old Mayan recipes and you'll visit a Maya family in a Mayan village deep in the jungle to see how they go about their life! 

On this 2-day Yucatan Round-Trip, you’ll see the southern part of Yucatan. You’ll visit Maya ruins almost untouched by tourism, like Dzibanche, Kohunlich (the valley of the masks), and also one of Mexico's magic cities, Bacalar. In Bacalar, you will visit the old Fort San Felipe and go on a boat trip on Bacalar lagoon (the lagoon of 7 colors)
