UXUXUBI (Maya for: the song of the bird’s)

Uxuxubi is a real Mayan Village, 10 miles deep in the jungle, west of Akumal in the middle of the Riviera Maya, near Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Learn how the Mayans are living in the jungle, the same way their ancestors lived there for hundred’s of years. Have a walk through the Village to the big Lagoon, where crocodiles are living and even seabirds are nesting in the middle of the jungle. Climb up a 30 foot high wooden tower to see how the Mayan village is wide spreading over the jungle. If you like the adventure, you can have a zip line ride over the big Lagoon.
